From David Cartwright's Weblog: 根据Winter公司2003年的调查结果，世界上最大的数据库位于Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC)，采用 Objectivity/DB 数据库，目前的容量是834TB，而且正以每天1TB的速度增长，很快就会达到1PB。
位于欧洲的粒子物理研究所的加速器运行时，每秒钟会产生100M数据，也就是864T/天。CERT的数据库设计成可以增长到100PB，采用的同样是Objectivity/DB。
